if it wasn't so pathetic it would be more funny. But this bizarre attempt to give your weak blog arguement some form of legitimacy by posting your blog URL on the site of the person you are blogging against is actually quite funny.

If this is an example of those supporting and/or advising the governor is it any small wonder she finds herself in the situation she is in? The truism is holding in this case that first class leaders hire and surround themselves with first class subordinates. Second class leaders hire and surround themselves with second and third class subordinates. You would do well to remember it.

The more they protest, the more the real picture is revealed. Is it just me or is the large amount of today's front page (headline above the fold followed by an entire page) spent on Wootin looking like the works of the Palins trying to get in attack mode and get the Palin name out of the headlines? If ADN was going to print the Wootin information based on it's own importance wouldn't it have already been in the paper?

Wow you are spot on !!! Not just Murkowski but so many of are elected officials on both sides of the political spectrum work very hard and pay attention to detail. With the Palins it is all about short cuts, fluff and flash. It works well for the equally lazy media types but the result is a bunch of GARBAGE like ACES and AGIA and the temptation for more short cuts and corruption as we are now wtinessing. If this bunch spent as much time focused on state business as they did attacking others and setting up photo ops we would be miles ahead. Sara has no background or ability to be able to understand the complex issues that face our great state and she is reduced to silly, shallow and simplistic public statements while refusing to answer questions even from the friendly press. She can not take the risk of the embarrasement that would come from public questions.

Did everyone notice the fact that the federal HHS Secretary was going to have PR event with our new State Commissioner Hogan but then it was changed to be with Governor Palin? We can't have anyone else in the limelight - especially if it can be used for a future campaign!

I think this is hilarious. I wish more people had a sense of humor.

It can only be because the message has become so difficult to react to. Consider what the revelation (the fire Wooten motive)behind the firing of DPS Commissioner has led to: --Stronger and sustained adverse public reaction to firing of Walt Monegan --Likely special investigator into the motives of this firing --Hasty appointment of a flawed candidate (Kopp) for DPS Commissioner --Leading to multiple painful press moments for the administration as Kopp's flaws were brought to light by the press --And more painful press moments when Palin's denials of meddling in Wooten's employment status were contradicted by Monegan --Followed by a second Friday night massacre in two weeks when Kopp was let go --And don't forget what the many Bailey and Frye emails, improperly shielded from public release, will possibly disclose. From a PR perspective, this is an awful mess for the Palin administratin, that has gone from zero to warp speed almost overnight. Worse, it keeps growing and expanding in terms of fronts on which the administration must deny, back pedal, fine new pithy word choices to try and make it all go away, etc. The very foundation for which she ascended to office is being eroded away, as the truth of how her practice of ethics operates come forward...that her ethics are like a umbrella, kept in the recesses of the closet until a downpour makes it necessary to grab it as required. I'm not surprised you find it necessary to attack to messenger. But here is a plain and simple truth: This is not about AH, or his track record in business, or the legislature, or in 8th grade for that matter. Remember it will look better to future employers to have left early as you can then claim you were troubled by what was coming out and chose to leave early. Staying the course, when the fur starts flying with depositions, subpoena, others offering testimony for immunity, etc. will make your career resurrection all the more difficult. He is a coward who isn't constructive - which is why he failed to get along with his colleagues in the legislature; colleagues in his own party. This is beyond what AH has posted on his blog. It has become front page fodder for all media outlets, and more importantly, a likely special investigation by the legislative branch of a sitting Governor. Something Alaska hasn't seen in a quarter century. Your laughable attempts to draw attention from this essential issue back to some desire to demean AH by claiming he is a loner is simply not a valid part of the ongoing statewide conversation. Sir Winston Churchill As for you working for SP, I clearly qualified this thought as a possibility, not an assertion of fact or allegation of conspiracy. However the advice is valid for those on her staff who are most certainly viewing this blog almost hourly.

First and formost to real world living is being in "Reality". Sad to say most people play mind games with themselves and hide from what "IS". Mister, what "IS" will come out in an investigation. If the prom queen that's posing as a governor is clean, good for her and all her supporters. She'll be stronger for it. If not...THAT will be Reality also and we'll all be dealing with it however it plays out. AH did what should have been done by an investigative reporter but they'd all drank the Palin Koolaide and couldn't be bothered. Welcome to the Real World.

You are so correct when you say this is a sad day, sad weeks, sad time in our state. You are totally off focus if you think the sadness in all of us is due to Andrew. He IS the messenger (and we all are thankful that he has put the message out in such a succinct way) -- the sadness is all on the shoulders of the Palin crowd - bringing disgrace to our great state after claiming to be the savior (and at times, claiming quite literally.) Yes, this is sad indeed. Andrew, we know you are dealing in facts. Keep up the good work. You have caused many to stop following and to start thinking for themselves. . . kudos!
