I understand today the dairy board did not accept the CEO's extension to his contract, so terminated him. They also did not like the legal opinions of the Corporate Attorney(Joan Travestino) so also terminated her contract. The Governor vetoed $130,000.00 for the Potato tissue culture program. Which is needed to promote disease free Potato's for export. This is a possible export market that only Alaska is cleared for. At the same time they are going to dump money into a known loser.The Dairy industry.
