Alaskan Politicians;

Andrew, what is wrong with Alaskan politicians? Your state was perceived to have one of and by some accounts the most corrupt governments in the nation. The image the classis good ole boy club has greatly faded away over the last couple of years. Alaska appeared to moving in a positive direction. I guess you could not stand the prosperity. This attempt of yours to orchestrate a scandal and to harm Governor Palin and her family reeks of vengeance. You lost the election, get over it! A gentleman, (as you like to portray yourself as) may have stayed active with issues and affairs of state, even play devils advocate, perhaps a run for another office or wait for the next gubernatorial election. You did make a choice. You chose to take the low road. Your solicitation of input from Trooper Wooten certainly appears to an outsider, to be sleazy politics. Your actions once again bring into the limelight, dysfunctional Alaskan politics! What's the matter, you couldn't beat her on the legitimate playing field, so you had to resort to these tactics? Let me ask you these 2 questions: • Did you play a role in Mike Wooten being out of town for 2 weeks? • Are you using your advertising muscle to influence the news media? Dan

Dan, you've got an over active imagination to say the least. First I had nothing to do with Wooten's vacation, why would I? Second, I have no advertising muscle.

But more importantly, I've never been a part of the good old boys network, in fact if you had taken the time to do any reading on my blog you can see where I was talking about the lack of ethics long before it became fashionable.

The fact that on Monday the Alaska State Legislature will appoint an independent investigator to look at allegations of misconduct in the governor's office for the first time since Sheffield...says it all.

Try and make it about me all you want, but I won't be the one getting supoenaed.
