Coming Monday: With a 2010 re-election campaign about to come knocking, I'll tell you why Governor Sarah Palin can't afford to answer the door.
That someone will be knocking at the door. Wouldn't surprise me if SP was still waiting for GOD to open the door for her, and it was still very much shut.

because those emails that have been so tightly held onto will prove embarrassing?
Is that you knocking at her door? My Andrew, your skin condition looks like a dry and has lots of scales! I hope you run against Palin and restore pride to Alaska.
I'm guessing that her actions will be "poll driven." If her buddy Dave Dittman can convince her she holds a big lead in the polls, then she'll roll the dice and run. Of course this will have to happen late in the game, so Dave is certain who the players are. Either way, it should provide some material for Mr. Whitekeys if nothing else.
She can't even afford a close victory, or worse yet, a divisive primary season. What if Ted comes out of his forced retirement? Get out the popcorn, it's going to be a great silly season in 2010!
She has mountains of legal bills to pay off and no real source of cash to pay them off from - ofcourse most of those bills are due to her lack of ethics. Bottom line is she can't afford to be governor and pass up that 8 figure book deal. Sarah needs to get paid, for her and for her family.
What was I thinking? That gosh darn ethics stuff keeps her off the book deal if she is in office. If she departs, she can get the gravy book deal and turn the promotional tour into a two year presidential campaign on the talk show circuit. Heck, she'll probably have her own takl show on Fox News.
she can't risk losing!
