He didn't bust my challenge...it was not a complaint filed by the bartender. It only became a complaint and was investigated when Wooten's ex related the story at a later time in a complaint.

I've thought the same thing - if it becomes clear that the Palins continued to press for Wooten's firing, couldn't they be found in contempt of court?

First thing Andy: You don't want me to bring up the texting thing; the person texted does not need that to come out during her campaign. If she wants to publicly discuss it, I will be more than happy to have her on. Trust me, she loses that battle. Andy, here is a news flash: The time frame for reporting a complaint does not matter, except for statute of limitations. The truth is what matters. He was found guilty of wrongdoing by the internal investigation. I guess you just don't get it, do you? He admitted to the allegations and the Troopers found them to be true and Wooten received a 5 day suspension, (which was an absolute joke and a “Cover-Up” in my opinion.) Are you saying, when a Woman is raped, it's no big deal if she waits too long? If a woman is abused, it doesn't count if she waits too long? If a Father abuses his 10 yr old step son, it doesn't matter if the wife waits to long to report it? Andy, you can't be serious? I understand statute of limitations, but that’s not what’s at issue here. The Troopers need to be investigated by the FBI and DOJ. There was a cover-up done and you think it's A OK? That’s pretty sad that you would continue to cover up the cover up. If this was your Daughter or Daughter in law, would you tell her, Honey you just need to live with it? The reason it came up in the divorce proceedings is because ones credibility is part of the judge’s decision making. What I said had absolutely nothing to do with statute of limitations. My point was that if these issues were so serious, why didn't Palin's sister report them when they happened?

Why didn't she pick up the phone after the tasering incident and report it right then and there? Why didn't she notify Fish & Game the moment they got back into town with the illegally shot moose?

Because these incidents weren't serious enough for her to report until she thought she could use them as leverage to get him to drop his fight for shared custody, years later during their divorce.

Since it is never too late to report improper conduct, nor too late to take action or hold the perpetrator responsible, I have one question for you. What should we do about the Palins knowingly receiving / possessing unlawfully taken game meat? That, sir, is a crime in this state.

How on earth did Eddie ever get a radio show and why is it still on the air? I used to be a loyal KBYR listener, but no longer. According to Eddie's logic, the ends always justify the means. The credibility of the system is irrelavent at least as it concerns Sarah. Change the subject to Uncle Ted or Don, and Eddie will say and do anything to make people believe how corrupt they are without any arguments consistant with other subjects.

I take my hat off to you Mr. Burke, you alone have managed to teach our governor a very important lesson and as we all have witnessed she is a very quick learner; If at first you choose to deceive, keep talking and hopefully you can baffle them with Bull&#@^. You sir are a Grand Master and you deserve all the kudos for prepping the governor on this. Just one insy teensy bit of advice however....You neglected to tell her the first rule prior to the second rule. "It's much better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." But I can understand where the confusion may come from- You'd have to know how to count to five to make that one work. I came in at a 3.1 and out did the station total qume. That's great for my first book. I've been there 8 months; the Fakin Bakin has been there 6 yrs. The highest rating KBYR has ever had was about a 3.5. I feel pretty good about the ratings. The reason I don’t box you is because you are a “Nobody.” Sorry for that, but it’s true. I didn’t think it possible Mr. Burke, but you have actually managed to come across as more insane and incompetent on the internet than you are on your radio show. You have to know that complaints about an office coming from an angry ex-wife are going to be treated with a little bit of scrutiny, don’t you? To clarify the issue, Office Wooten was investigated for the DUI, Moose shoot and tazing and any and all verified incidents were handled by the department. Are you somehow saying that the Alaska State Troopers are not honorable enough to police their own and deal with complaints in a just manner? That is a very serious charge and I suggest you choose your words carefully before answering. Are you suggesting that Wooten abuses his children? If so then you are not very familiar with a tazer or the incident with the tazer that Officer Wooten is accused of. Are you somehow saying that Office Wooten abused his ex-wife or current wife? IF you are saying that then you are guilty of charater assassination and I wouldn’t be surprised if you are held accountable for such irresponsible statements. You know Eddie, having listened to you show I know that you are very critical of the media and the irresponsibility with which many journalists conduct themselves. I think before you throw another accusation toward them though, you should take a more careful inventory of the type of tripe that you yourself are guilty of. Officer Wooten, by all indication including an extensive record, is a good office despite his flaws. I think Mr. Halcro’s question is a legitimate one. If he is such a terrible officer then someone should be able to step forward. More importantly though, and what I want to make perfectly clear, is that I do believe that the Troopers have the ability to make sure that poor officers are removed from the force, where as you do not seem to trust them. How sad.

More importantly, people within the DPS need to be investigated. You are absolutely correct; I think the people who made decisions about Trooper Wooten’s wrongful actions have failed the public’s trust. Five day suspensions… are you serious? First of all Eddie, I am not a trooper. I am a private citizen just like you with an opinion. Your tyrade about possible spousal abuse is irresponsible journalism and as a journalist I would think that a basic fear of stating something incorrectly would be a good thing. So yea, a responsible person whould watch their words carefully (which is what I said by the way). (Incidentally, misquoting someone and then telling them to go to hell would be another example). I don't see how you can get around that. That is what I am talking about. To go on air, or on your blog and publicly make such an accusation is insane in my opinion. Let's put that aside for now though. After I called you on it, you became very specific. You believe that the Alaska State Troopers and the Alaska Department of Public Safety are corrupt and need to be investigated. Do you understand how simply illogical that is? What you are saying is that two organizations, made up of hundreds of people, are the ones who are corrupt. Not the less than a dozen people who are in the Palin administration. It is the modus operandi of someone who simply is incapable of looking at things logically, and of someone trying to paint themselves as a victim. The Troopers investigated Wooten and handed down a decision. That's all. The governor has no right to put pressure to reverse or alter the decision after that. To do so is against the law. Period. Why are you so eager to accuse entire Alaska State Troopers and the Department of Public Safety of corruption when there is no evidence? I guess you will say that not getting the results that you wanted from the investigation is your evidence? I agree that a corruption case should be done, and it is the one currently on-going. It is the one where there is evidence to support such an investigation. It is the one of Governor Palin and her administration. Would I taze my children? I don't have any, so no. If I did? First, there's Trooper Wooten - which has been investigated and discipline enacted. Albiet, some may not believe the punishment was enough. Second, did the gov. or members of her staff abuse their power in office? This is being investigated. Sorry you feel that only Trooper Wooten did something wrong and Sarah walks on water. I for one will await the conclusion of the Branchflower investigation.

This is the second post I have read on this site where you indicate that Tropper Wooten "beat his wife" Eddie. Do you have some new evidence that Trooper Wooten committed a crime of domestic violence? If so you should proceed immediately to the AST office nearest where you are at this point in time. If not then you should stop refering to a certified Law Enforcement Officer as a "wife beater". It seems to me that the timing of all these complaints coincide with only the divorce, and all but 2 of the complaints filed against Trooper Wooten, (all filed by the Palin/Heath clan), were found not to be substantiated. Let it go Eddie. You are beating a dead horse. I bet you cannot find one single Trooper or Anchorage Police Officer that has the same type of arrest record, time in service, as Tropper Wooten, that has had no complaints filed against then at some point in time. And no, before you respond asking if I'm indicting all cops, I'm not. I'm suggesting that people file inane, incomplete, and false complaints against the police on a regular basis. Ask any cop who has served more than a few years on the street and they will tell you. Complaints are filed regularly against the police. Most are complete BS.
