The Wooten Challenge

It's time to put up or shut up.

For all the people out there that continue to say things like "this was a bad cop and he should have been fired" or "the governor was right to try and get rid of a rogue cop" here is a challenge:

Find me one......one......person that has filed a complaint against Wooten in the eight years he has been an Alaska State Trooper that was not filed during his divorce with Governor Palin's sister in 2005.

Just one person who filed a complaint about abusive behavior, improper conduct, making threats...whatever. That's all....just one.

It can't be done.

In Wooten's eight year career, the only complaints that have been filed against him came from people associated with Governor Palin during a divorce and child custody fight in which they were trying to get him fired so he wouldn't be able to get custody of his children.

And again, the complaints that were sustained like tasering his step son and shooting a moose without a tag, happened years earlier and went unreported until the Palin's tried to use them to pressure Wooten into giving up the custody fight for his kids.

The record is as clear as the sound of Frank Bailey's weasily voice.

So much for the rogue cop argument.

YES. The continued focus on

YES. The continued focus on Wooten's performance is a tactic to draw discussion away from the issue at heart - abuse of office. I don't know him - but it's been irking me all along that some folks keep harping on him, like his conduct (conveniently reported by his cohorts in that conduct only when they could spin it to get revenge), whatever it may be, somehow excuses SP&co abuses of office. That's the type of reasoning an 8 year old uses to get out of trouble. Thanks for clearing the air.

OMG

I NEVER thought I would say this - Andrew, I want to have your baby! LOL!!!! You are so right, so on the ball with all this great info. Thanks for opening our eyes to "The Alaska Hillbillies". I wunder if they gots one them ther ceement ponds at them ther kapitall.

HEY!

Hey Bootsy; since I grew up in the Ozark Hills of Missouri, on a farm and all, I do qualify as a hillbilly. I take exception to the Palin's being mentioned as such. Hillbilly's may be simple but they're honest. We called the Palin like folk "White Trash". Now, doesn't that fit mo betta?

Are you saying the Clampetts

Are you saying the Clampetts friends coming to visit from "them those" hills would be about the same as the Menards coming to visit the Governor from the valley? It's a thought!!!!

the difference...

....between this group and the Clampetts: When the Clampetts found oil they encouraged development of it rather than chasing the oil companies away. We should all learn a lesson from Pa and Jethro.

The Best!

That's my favorite statement of 2008!

I'm saying...

Yep, ya got dat right down dere fer shure! Them ther Meeenards from that ther valley ther! Would Sa Sa Sarah be Elli Mae or Grannie? I'm trying to figure that one out! Todd is definitely Jethro! What a joke - I'm starting to feel a bit embarrassed that she is the "one in charge" of our state!

B&B

Us hillbillies being linked in the same sentence with the White Trash Palinites isn't fair and the Clampetts deffinately don't deserve the reference. They we a pretty "functional" family that looked out for each other, were honest and pure of heart. Bevus & Butthead fit for these guys.
